This past week has been pretty good for the most part. It's been crazy busy at work and stressful but the week is almost over! I spent Wednesday at home with Riley because we've both been sick. She did really good and I'm so happy when I get to spend so much time with her without the freak outs. She continues to amaze me every day. She's been extra sweet when she doesn't feel well. We've been working on teaching her "Head, Shoulder, Knees and Toes" and she thinks it's so funny! She'll just start singing and hitting my shoulders after I do it. She knows most of her body parts so it normally just turns into her pointing to different parts and saying what they are.
This morning she really melted my heart. I've been really bad at saying our prayers in the morning but we always say them at night. Well when I gave her her breakfast I went to go get mine ready, when I sat down she was just sitting with her arms folded with a huge grin waiting to say the prayer! It definitely taught me that I need to be a better example to her. In the course of our short little breakfast we said 3 prayers together-how can you say no to her folding her cute little arms!! The last one she finally started to repeat and say our prayer after me :) she's learning and I am so grateful for her sweet little spirit in our lives!
